Doublejoint Theatre Cos production traces the life and times of the legendary Christy Moore. Without doubt Moore is Ireland's most popular singer/songwriters. As a testament to his popularity he is one of the few artists in Ireland to attract capacity audiences for ten consecutive nights in the Point Depot in Dublin.
The script reflects Christy's own humour and high spirits as well as his more serious concerns. Terry O'Neill, no stranger to the stage himself, plays the part of Christy. Christy Moore has given the play his seal of approval and indeed contributed to the script himself.
